Gift Aid
We kindly ask you to consider paying the admission with Gift Aid. The Gift Aid scheme is run by the Inland Revenue and allows us as a charity to receive an extra 25p for every £1 admission, if you pay the additional 10% voluntary donation Gift Aid Admission. Gift Aid makes a huge difference to us. Picton Castle Trust is an independent charity that relies on admission and support from the public to maintain and restore the castle and gardens for the enjoyment of our visitors.
If you are a UK taxpayer, Picton Castle Trust can claim tax back from the Government when you pay the Gift Aid admission price. In order to claim Gift Aid, we need to ask you to complete some basic information, to complete the Gift Aid declaration. This will not affect your personal Tax situation and if you are a higher rate tax payer you can even claim tax relief on the donation. We really appreciate your support and under no circumstances will this data be used for marketing purposes.
If you are not a UK taxpayer, the additional donations are also extremely useful to us. We are grateful for all donations, and you can also donate in our collection boxes on site.
